Our 2024 New Year’s Wish List for the Nation of Ukraine

2024 will prove to be a defining year for the world. Expect a long and difficult battle in Ukraine. Expect more fractures in the attention of the West. With this in mind, we offer our wish list of New Years’ Resolutions for the people and leadership of Ukraine.

1. Fight to Maintain Your Unity:

The Ukrainian spirit of unity against Russian aggression has been an inspiration to the world. The time and stress of war can lead to fractures. You must remain strong and unbroken. Do not allow petty squabbles to diminish the power of your message.

2. Build Your Military Infrastructure:

Ukraine needs to fight for self-reliance by embracing a wartime economy. Ukraine cannot trust the West alone for support. There must be greater military self-reliance.

3. Protect Your Identity:

As Ukraine seeks EU membership and approval from the West, it must remain true to itself. Do not try to appease the West by emulating our worst behavior. For example, Ukraine should not “go woke.”

4. Accept Nothing Less than Total Victory:

General Douglas McArthur’s words apply to you today: “In war there is no substitute for victory. There are some who, for varying reasons, would appease [Russia]. They are blind to history's clear lesson, for history teaches with unmistakable emphasis that appeasement but begets new and bloodier war.”

5. Work Harder to Make the Case for Ukraine in USA:

With Presidential and congressional primaries on the line, it is vital that time and resources be applied to (1) refuting outrageous claims against Ukraine with origins in Moscow being circulated in American media, and (2) explaining the heart and soul of the Ukrainian people and the go-strategic benefits of a free Ukraine to the West.

6. Be Accountable and Eradicate Corruption:

We live at a moment of impenetrable corruption in Russia and growing corruption in the U.S. Ukraine aspires to cast off the tentacles of corruption and rise above, but there is a long way to go. The eyes of the world are upon you. You must be squeaky clean.

7. Document Russian Warcrimes:

A day will come when Russia will be held to account for the largest number of warcrimes since WWII. It is vital that Ukraine assist the international community in the process of collecting evidence for future warcrime trials.

8. Look to God for Your Deliverance:

Without hope in God and His help, there is no future. With God, all things are possible. Fight hard, but remember that He is your deliverer.
